Waves, not waterfalls.
Waterfalls deliver everything at once, then nothing. Tides arrive on schedule, forever.
Marea is a design studio in Lisboa building digital instruments — calm, considered, made to be used and then forgotten. A few projects a year, each one seen all the way to shore.
Software should be quiet.
It arrives like weather — present, useful, gone when you don’t need it.
We do not ship decoration.
We ship instruments.
We’d rather make ten things people keep than a hundred they scroll past.

The argument before the pixels.
Interfaces that hold still long enough to think.
Movement with a reason to move.
Hand-built. No frameworks, no bloat.
Letters as instruments.
The whole surface, not just the screen.

Tell us about it — we read every letter and answer the post.
